Turnaround, revisions, shipping & refunds.

Turnaround

Most portraits are completed in about 4–5 weeks from receipt of your deposit and photos. A rush option (+30%) may be available on request and is added to your final balance.

Revisions

Near completion, Don sends a scan for your approval. Small adjustments can be made at that stage. Once you approve the scan, it is considered final and no further changes are made.

Delivery & shipping

Portraits ship flat (matted, without glass) by UPS. Shipping is quoted separately based on your location and added to your final balance. Original artwork ships to the United States duty-free; US orders ship matted (unframed).

Deposit & refunds

A 50% deposit begins your commission. Because each portrait is created by hand specifically for you, the deposit is non-refundable once work begins. The remaining balance is due after you approve the scan, before shipping.
